Christmas in Jumblewood

Christmas is coming to Jumblewood, and our four friends are busy thinking of lovely things they can make for the people they care about.

Each festive adventure begins with a story and a little Jumblewood problem to solve, then carries the fun beyond the story with colouring, simple activities and a practical Make to enjoy with a grown-up. From decorations and growing gifts to something delicious from the kitchen, the Makes are designed to be created in the run-up to Christmas and, wherever possible, shared or given to someone special.

Created especially for children aged 3-5, our Christmas stories are about much more than presents. They are about kindness, imagination, friendship and the pleasure of making something together.

Story. Colour. Make.
Together.

FAQs

What are the Jumblewood Christmas books?
The Jumblewood Christmas books are festive story-and-activity adventures created for children aged 3-5 to enjoy with a grown-up. Each story follows our woodland friends through a Christmas muddle, with colouring, simple activities and a practical Make inspired by the adventure.

When are the Christmas books designed to be enjoyed?
They are especially lovely in the run-up to Christmas. The stories, activities and Makes give us things to read, colour, create and share together while Christmas is getting closer.

Does every Christmas book include something to make?
Yes. Each adventure includes its own story-connected Make. Across our Christmas adventures we can decorate, grow, bake or create something inspired by what happens in the story.

Can the Christmas Makes be given as gifts?
Wherever possible, yes. Making something for someone we care about is part of the heart of these Christmas adventures, so many of the finished Makes can be shared, given or kept as a little Christmas keepsake.

Do we need to read the Christmas adventures in order?
No. Each Jumblewood adventure can be enjoyed on its own, although familiar friends and little connections between the stories make it fun to spend more time in Jumblewood together.
